The Birmingham Six eBay scam artists

If you have arrived on this page having been scammed as a buyer or seller by any of the names listed below then you are not alone and these are just the names and numbers we have been able to connect together without the resources of eBay who’s only concern is to try and hide the problem by pulling the plug on the various accounts as the amount of complaints rises and then allowing the fraudsters to open a new eBay account with no questions asked which would involve ignoring the bank account details used for new accounts and also ignoring the Internet Protocol Address (IP) of the persons committing this fraud.

Kawasakiz25039 , Garry473473 , MarkMark.0121 , Paul39393939 , IBuyCarsandBikes , Mk39Escort  have all been connect by either telephone numbers or because cars that were not sold from one account were then sold using another account and as you will see the profile of the member is the same along with the location which is always close to junction 2 on the M5 in the west midlands.

Belkin0121 and gsnnah0121 are quite possibly also connected to the fraud but we have been unable to confirm this 100% ourselves since eBay as usual had pulled all the adverts and the connection to Gary473473 was made by another eBay member but it does seem to be accurate and both sellers and buyers have come forward to confirm the appearance of Garry/Paul as being 5’6” tall aged 35-40 with tattoos and weighing in at a whopping 20 plus stones in weight with short ginger hair.

It is starting to appear that maybe more than one person is involved as Garry/Paul often travels with a younger person to pick up cars but the main names uses are Garry Horton, Garry Saint, Paul James, Paul Saint, Mark and the number 39 seems to be significant as is buying golf ‘T’s and stamps to gain feedback along with motor bikes part particularly parts for a Kawasaki bikes.

The phone numbers used are : 07982 281422, 07960 614603, 07957 310XXX, 07958 247351 07725 577419, 07806 524449, 07505 639396 97947 7703595

Please note that if you have a landline number for Garry/Paul ending in 212 then this has been confirmed as belonging to an old couple in the Birmingham area and also note that Garry/Paul nearly always uses victorious address often belonging to elderly folks in the Oldbury area and if you have in the past sold him a car and he did not manage to persuaded you to hand over the V5 document without completing the details then the chances are you were given a non existent address.

eBay have been unable to provide accurate details for this person and in our case we only received half a postal address and a telephone number for a health center located in the middle of Birmingham and the trading standards have also been unable to get details about the various accounts mentioned above having made a formal request over eight weeks ago so if you are expecting help from eBay then don’t but do ensure you collect as much detail as you can yourself before reporting any incident to eBay as they remove the offending pages and then believe it or not in our case they try to say that the deal was conducted outside of eBay and therefore they are unable to offer any protection and despite being told a dozen times that we are English they continue to send replies in French and this includes the automated emails generated by a machine when you report fraud as you are not worth a real thank you.

On more than one occasion these fraudsters have appeared to be clocking (See item One and Two) cars and at least one person has reported being assaulted and I myself have received threats as has an old lady from up north who’s name I have agreed to protect.

We became involved in this problem after we purchased a 2007 Vauxhall Astra that didn’t even make it home after the sale and was subject to a three page mechanical report after the vehicle had previously been involved in an accident and thrown back together so we will more than likely scrap the car instead of passing it on to another unsuspecting motorist

Currently the Birmingham Police see our complaint as being a civil matter despite ourselves insisting action is taken under the 1988 Road traffic act section 75 that states it is an criminal offence for anyone, never mind a trader to sell a vehicle that is unfit for the public roads and as you can see fraud has also been a major element in this case.

Here are just some of the cars involved 1 2 3 4 5 6

Please note I will not publish any addresses here since Garry/Paul/Jamie/Mark have been giving out a considerable number of false address and in some case these addresses belonged to the elderly and in at least one case the old people have been harassed by angry eBay members wanting money back so I urge you all to let the law deal with these criminals and contact me with any registration numbers you have for cars that have been brought/sold by this gang and then I will contact DVLC with a full list and hopefully they will be able to deal with the situation.

I did manage to contact one of the members who calls himself Jamie and he seemed to be suffering a bit of amnesia when it came to eBay itemID 180294553528 and any connection to Paul/Garry via a Land Rover but I think the five links I’ve provide proves the case.

Did i say he likes using number 39 ! well here we have another one gaz1234539 and the only thing he ever sold was a car back to gsnnah0120

One last point i would like to say a big thankyou to www.GoofBay.com for helping us connect the dots
